Kathryn M. Wall has
worked in employee benefits in Indianapolis since 1987. For 10+
years, she led the communications practice for a health and welfare
consulting firm, and has most recently served as a communications
consultant for benefits and educational clients.
Her responsibilities
with UBA include content development for and management of the
HRinsiderâ; librarian for the Wisdom Networkâ; coordinator of
teleconferences for member firm support staffs; and the preparation
of press releases, templates, marketing materials, and employee
communications for UBA member firms and their clients.
Kathy also taught communications and English courses at the high
school and university levels (both online and in the classroom) for
15 years and was employed as a director of public relations for 5
years. She has been a frequent speaker at various workshops/ seminars
on benefit communications. She most recently completed a two-year
term as the national communications chair for WEB, a national
employee benefits association.
Kathy completed her undergraduate studies in English/secondary
education and business at Ball State University (Indiana) and her
graduate studies in communications at Indiana University. |
