Imagine a day in the not-too-distant future when a financial planner visits a client's employer-provided, personalized web site (called a BenefitsPassportSM) which has all of the client's investment, insurance, banking, credit card and employee benefits information on it. Together, the client and the financial planner are able to check all "Financial Vital Signs", and discuss a personalized financial strategy.
The client, who also uses the BenefitsPassportSM to enroll and look up employee benefit information, is able to conveniently purchase customized financial products (as well as consumer items) to complete their Financial Plan. All of the information on the BenefitsPassportSM site is updated in real-time, and is portable, irrespective of any specific employer. Imagine that such a BenefitsPassportSM
Network increasingly
becomes a major gateway
through which many
Americans access their
financial information. Few
employers would consider
installing an employee
benefits program that was
not part of a BenefitsPassportSM Network.
